Questions
How do I turn app usage tracking on or off?
It is opt in. Reveal asks for usage access when you first enable the feature, and Android sends you to the usage access screen to grant it. You can revoke it any time in Android settings, under apps and usage access, and Reveal simply stops reading those numbers.
How does pricing work?
Reveal is free to use, with a generous free tier that stays usable, no trial that expires and no lock. Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks extras like history beyond thirty days, trends and comparisons. When premium purchasing becomes available it will be billed through Google Play, at a planned 7.99 EUR per month or 49.99 EUR per year, managed in the Play Store.
How do I export my data?
Open Reveal, go to your data settings, and export to a local file. The file stays on your device unless you move it yourself. You can import it back on a new phone to carry your history with you.
How do I delete my data?
Because nothing leaves your device, deleting is local. Clear your entries inside the app, or uninstall Reveal to remove everything it stored. There is no server copy to request, because there is no server.
My focus time looks wrong.
Reveal tracks focus in the foreground and closes the session when you leave the app, so battery savers that kill background work can cut a session short. If numbers look off, check that Android is not aggressively restricting Reveal in the battery settings.
Which devices does it support?
Android phones, to start. You install it from Google Play, and it runs locally from there.
